About Push Notifications add-on
With Push Notifications you can:
- subscribe to web push notifications about different JIRA issue events/updates on multiple devices including mobile
- navigate to changed issue in JIRA by clicking on notification dialog.
How to install
- Open your JIRA Cloud "Add-ons" administration page
- Switch to "Find new add-ons" section
- Find "Push Notifications" add-on by typing "push notifications" in the "Search Marketplace" field
- Click "Free trial" button on the "Push Notifications for JIRA Cloud" add-on
- Accept installing the add-on after reading "Data Security & Privacy" information
Admin's Guide
Push Notifications add-on doesn't require any configuration by JIRA administrators and can be used after installation right away.

Browsers Support
Currently Notifier for JIRA Cloud add-ons only supports push notifications to the following browsers and platforms:

Register new browser
To enable notifications for your browser you should open "Settings" page of "Notifier for JIRA" add-on under your user profile in JIRA main menu.
If you browser is not registered yet you will be asked to proceed to setup page which uniquely identifies your JIRA user and JIRA instance at https
://notifier.zqteam.com/setup/<hash-key > page.
You can connect you Chrome Mobile using QR code.
Click "Save" to register your current browser in Notifier add-on. You can set a custom name to be able to identify browser in the list of registered apps in the future.
After successful registration you can proceed to back to settings page of your JIRA where current browser will be displayed as already linked:
Manage registered browsers
You can manage all your registered browsers in your Notifier settings. The following operarions are available:
- rename browser
- unregister browser to stop receive push notifications
- send test notification to the registered browser
Supported JIRA issue event types
The list of JIRA events for which push notifications are sent is currently limited to mentioning user and watching issue .
This part will be configurable user notification profiles, but currently is built-in into Notifier add-on for all users.
Mentioning user
You receive notification if someone mentioned you in a new comment to any issue of any project.
Watching issue
You receive notification for all changes in the issues you are currently watching.
